Your new team
The Hays Key Account Management team in Melbourne plays a critical role in the engagement, protection and evolution of relationships with our client partners. With a joint focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations as well as educating and enabling our own recruitment consultants, the team enjoys a variety of responsibilities and challenges every day. We are looking for an ambitious Account coordinator to join the team.

Your new role
Supporting a Key Account Manager, this role is responsible for the strategic and successful management of a portfolio of clients across Victoria. You will maintain effective partnership with clients and will continually develop account initiatives, establish and develop client relationships and drive operational excellence within the business.
Responsibilities will include assist account manager in preparing tenders and proposals, writing and tailoring responses for tender submissions, project administration, maintenance of the national document library and other ad hoc duties as required. Working across the business you will utilise your outstanding communication skills to build relationships with internal stakeholders ranging from Senior Consultants to Regional Directors.
You will work in partnership with a number of internal departments including Marketing, Administration and Compliance to deliver a high level of customer service to our Clients. You will ensure that the service we provide to clients is effective, efficient, professional and consistent. Alongside the Account Manager you will set a strategic direction for all client accounts and will assist the business to recognise further growth opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to demonstrate the Hays values (Passionate about People, Expert, Ambitious, Innovative and Insightful) in your customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to think and act strategically to come up with solutions and initiatives to drive our Key Client business. This is a busy and demanding role therefore it is essential that you have the ability to prioritise a changing workload within a fast-paced environment. Excellent IT knowledge is essential, including intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with a proven track record of working in a demanding administration role.
