Well, our client is one of the largest food processing and packaging facilities in the world and they have an amazing opportunity in Regional South Australia, Port Wakefield for a Qualified Maintenance Fitter.

In this role you will be responsible for general maintenance that includes repair on a day-to-day basis as well as ensuring downtime is minimized. In addition, you will develop and implement systems that will maximise the efficiency of and minimise cost of utilities.

You will also recommend and develop initiatives that will enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the plant.

To apply for this role, you will need to be trade qualified in a mechanical field along with some experience in a maintenance role preferably within a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will have some knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic operations along with TIG MIG and stick welding.
