The Position:

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic with experience maintaining Horizontal Directional Drill Drill Rigs (HDD) for a Water Pipeline project based on the NSW Central Coast. We are able to offer Flights from any major city as this project is deemed an essential project by the NSW Government. You will be responsible for completing maintenance, servicing, overhauling and breakdown repairs on a large HDD Drill Rig - HK400. The role will see you working 10-12hr shifts on a 2&2 roster, possible 3&1 depending on availability of other maintenance staff.

To be successful in the position you MUST have:

Recent experience working as a Rig Mechanic or Drill Fitter - in particular with HDD equipment
Experience working with mud pumps etc
Trade Qualified as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
Commitment to working in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to pass a drug / alcohol assessment
