This position is graded as an Occupational Therapists and Social Workers Level 3, Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist in training and Registered Nurses. Graduates from the Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health (Djirruwang Program) may be appointed as a Counsellor Level 3.

Gunnedah is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join their Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Outpatient Service.

You will work as a sole practitioner where you will work closely with Tamworth CAMHS clinicians. The team includes allied health practitioners including psychologists, a social worker, occupational therapist and a mental health registered nurse. The position is further supported locally by their onsite colleagues in Adult Mental Health Services.

CAMHS provides a range of services that aim to increase awareness of mental health issues for children and young people, improve early detection and intervention in the development of mental illness and to actively promote mental health and well-being.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mental Health Clinician, with a strong interest in working with children and adolescents who have a range of mental health issues.
