Our Client is currently looking for a Customer Support Coordinator for their Geelong based office on a permanent full time basis.

Your new role

You would be required to work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with the role initially being on site but building into a flexible work from home arrangement. You will be responsible for managing customer projects and have the ability to provide exceptional customer service with professionalism. It is advantageous that you have an understanding of the building industry in any capacity.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensuring projects are driven through the system within time frame constraints as forecasted
Manage the customer's experience and expectations
Obtain required planning and other permits in agreed time frames
Coordination of appointments
Quality control on calling customers to confirm their project status, next steps, documentation review and confirm any variations
Run Workflow to know which jobs you need to focus on and give updates to the customers
Maintain professional internal and external relationships

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will need:

Experience working within a customer management focused role within the building or similar industry, this is preferred but not mandatory
Experience in understanding residential construction plans and contracts, preferred but not mandatory
Proven experience in being a member of a successful, dynamic, multi-channel and results focused customer service team with a passion for customer service excellence
Proven ability to trouble shoot and effectively meet deadlines
Ability to meet client needs and generate solutions
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
Highly organised, attention to detail and ability to multi task
