The Opportunity

We are recruiting for the position of Executive Assistant to BDA Human Resources Director and Chief Financial Officer located in our Brisbane office.

The position provides executive level administrative support to the two Directors, and takes responsibility for a range of administrative functions at a senior level.

Responsibilities will include:

Provides professional and confidential executive support to the Director including prioritising and initiating action on all incoming correspondence; coordinating diary events and appointments; screening of telephone calls and visitors;
Preparation of a wide range of reports, Powerpoint presentations, correspondence, memos, minutes, agendas or other documents by researching and gathering reference materials from various sources; and coordinating action that needs to be taken in relation to these. Ensuring all material is available in a timely manner;
Coordinate travel requirements by booking domestic and international travel for the DIrectors, hire cars, accommodation, and itinerary as required.
To be successful you will have:

Previous experience (5 years) in an executive assistant role in a corporate or senior management environment
Demonstrated professional qualities of integrity, reliability, confidentiality, initiative and the ability to work proactively with limited supervision.
Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to retain composure and flexibility under pressure, to facilitate effective working relationships and inter/intra departmental workflow.
