My client one of the leading non-profit aged care providers in Australia is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join their friendly team.

The role is located in a beautiful area of Tasmania close to Launceston with a range of amenities close by and onsite parking.

Who we are looking for:

A caring and passionate nurse with a strong commitment to the care of our clients. We are also looking for someone who can take charge and lead by example.

Essentials for the role:

Current Nurse Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Working knowledge of commonly used systems in aged care such as Icare.
Understanding of Quality systems and their importance.
Computer literacy
Strong communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and other members of the team.
Time management skills
Demonstrated ability to supervise a staff and provide a positive direction.

What we would love you to have

Postgraduate studies in dementia or related areas.
5 years + in aged care
Palliative Care experience
