A fantastic opportunity has come up to join an ASX-listed Financial Services business as an Accounts Payable Officer. Our client are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to start ASAP for a 12 month contract.

Our client is an Australian-owned business in the Financial Services known for their unique service and involvement in the community. Our client has been in operation for 15 years and have a strong foothold in their niche market. They believe in fostering an encouraging working environment, with ongoing support and training and flexible working hours on offer.

Description

Other key responsibilities will include the following:

Processing of large amount of invoices on daily basis (50+)

Building and furthering stakeholder and vendor relationships

Carrying out weekly payment runs (local and international)

Performing daily and weekly reconciliations

Assisting in management of major accounts

Profile

Circa 1 year of Accounts Payable experience is preferred, more will also be considered

Proficient understanding of SAP or any large ERP is preferred but not essential

Ability to meet set deadlines with a high-quality standard of work

Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport
