Recent growth has now created a number of opportunities for talented Registered Nurses, to join our ranks across a range of sites.

About the Role: To be successful in the role you will be an experienced RN with complex clinical care experience. You will have a person-centered approach putting clients at the center of their own service by helping them make choices, plan goals and have extraordinary lives. You will be passionate about making sure Achieve clients have the best opportunity to do well in their community and be passionate about building positive relationships by working in partnership with clients and co-workers communicating with clarity and respect.

Coordinate and deliver quality client nursing and support services consistent with the Disability Services Act 1993;
Ensure services are in line with current service philosophy which promotes improvement in quality of life and fosters independence for people with a disability;
Undertake and coordinate the delivery of nursing support services to assist participants in implementing individual plans (IP) and to remain safe and healthy within their assessed capacity or in conjunction with guardians who have decision-making authority; and
Deliver appropriate health care procedures and administer medication to meet participant requirements.

About you: Whilst we invite applications from all candidates who meet eligibility requirements, the most competitive applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health and disability services;
Confidence to critically assess and provide appropriate, effective and timely care in a multidisciplinary approach;
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills;
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment including as a leader of a team;
Ability to work a rotating roster in a 24 hour care facility;
Experience in working with people with disabilities, preferably in a community setting;
Experience in working with people who have complex health support needs; and
Understanding of legislation relevant to supporting people with disabilities including the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014.

To be eligible to apply you must have:

Registered Nurse (RN) registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Current CPR Certificate
Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance number
Valid NSW Driver's Licence
