About the role

We are looking for two part-time Team Leaders to join our Lifestyle options program, based at Heidelberg and Coburg.

Support the Coordinator to develop and implement service aims and program delivery through peer support/modelling of best practice behaviours to Disability Support Staff and administration activities
Provide staff with a clear vision, strategies and direction at the site whilst working in a way that is central to the values and culture of Scope
You will be required to perform 10 hrs per week which includes team lead and disability support responsibilities
The role requires an 8:30am start to coordinate the day's activities.

About you

A diverse background in supporting people to meet their personal goals, with a focus on supporting people with a physical and/or intellectual disability
You have worked to achieve outcomes which reflect the Scope mission and values
Have demonstrated strong skills as a disability support worker which you have modelled for peers and others
Have demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to build and manage relationships and work within a team environment
Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to uphold our mission "to enable each person we support to live as an empowered and equal citizen" and our Scope approach resonates with you and inspires you
You are committed to family and person-centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation

Requirements

Satisfactory National Police Check for 'Employment in Disability' (no more than twelve months old)
International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
Satisfactory Working with Children Check (Employee)
Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
Australian Residency Status or valid Australian Working Rights
