QLD Permanent Consultant Anaesthetist role (could be for Full-time or Part-time)

A hospital in Queensland is looking for a Part-time or Full-time Permanent Consultant Anaesthetist to join their great team!

The hospital is 90 minutes from Brisbane and is one of the largest employers in the region, with a diverse team of more than 5,500 staff. They deliver frontline health services across 29 facilities and treat more than 85,000 admissions to hospital, see greater than 158,000 people through their Emergency Departments, support the birth of almost 3,000 babies and perform more than 19,000 breastscreens.

This 300+ bed facility is the major referral centre for the region and provides public health and hospital services for a population of approximately 265,000 people and is expected to grow to over 360,000 in the next 20 years.

About the role:
You will provide quality cost-efficient anaesthesia, preadmission review and acute pain services care and clinical consultative services within the hospital. A high level of interpersonal communication skills are essential, as is an empathetic, kind and supportive approach to care. Your clinical expertise will be matched by your commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and a passion for continued self-education and development.
