The Position

Skilled Medical currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Career Medical Officer in Emergency to commence a permanent full-time position in Regional NSW commencing ASAP. Applicants with a minimum of at least 7 year's postgraduate medical experience with at least 3 year's experience working at a senior level are encouraged to apply.

In this position candidates are effectively the primary and often the sole medical practitioner and may often work with no direct or on site clinical supervision.

Health Service

This small to medium sized hospital has a 24 hour emergency department and a comprehensive range of specialist services.

The hospital has 28 general medical beds and 10 beds in the sub acute medical ward.

This regional town is surrounded by idyllic countryside, and offers a relaxed and balanced lifestyle. It is positioned near Australian Highlands and ski-fields, and also stunning coastline.

Essential Criteria

Doctors must hold registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

The Package

Public Hospital Career Medical Officers (State) Award.

Remuneration packages commence at $200, 000 per annum based on full time employment (38hr week) with added superannuation at 9.5% remuneration may vary (increase) dependent on the rosters/shifts allocated as penalty rates are paid for in charge, nights and weekends. In addition to: Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and other award entitlements.
