This position is a great opportunity to grow in an autonomous sales and marketing role in a newly renovated leading Golf Course located in the stunning Yarra Valley just 50 mins outside of Melbourne CBD.

Your new role

Drive new membership sales
Take Membership enquiries through telephone, personal appointment, website and walk-ins.
Coordinating Members golf events including: confirmation, internal communication with club captains, presidents and the CoM.
Manage the members release & re sale list for Private & Corporate Memberships on a daily basis as well as maintaining confident negotiations.
Selling Private & Corporate Memberships through the re sale list.
Drawing up contracts - Collating and preparing of Marketing collateral for Memberships
Running all new member Inductions & create welcome packs
Maintain and coordinate gift vouchers and promotional giveaways.
Marketing- business cards and relevant voucher designs and ordering
Processing of payments and coordination of prizes.
Sourcing local suppliers for functions such as beverages for prizes & musicians etc.
Creating function menus, welcome notices, audio visual equipment and sourcing relevant theme decorations.
Liaising with department heads and staff for the success of internal events
Provide support to proshop as required and creating booking sheets for upcoming events.
Coordinate external events for the Clubhouse function rooms.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong, credentialed and people orientated leadership skills.
Member focussed personality with a strong service work ethic and able to manage their time efficiently.
Excellent understanding of the game of golf, rules, handicapping, competition formats ad management of events.
Be able to monitor and deliver the key values a
s set out by management
Passion for golf and an understanding of a club environment.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar golf operations role within the golf industry
Mandarin speaking candidates highly regarded
