This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

What you'll be doing

To provide leadership and management for a team delivering specialist clinical pharmacy services to Haematology and Oncology inpatients within Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) (primarily admitted patients to Gosford Hospital).

The position will be required to undertake a clinical and leadership role, including support and line management of junior pharmacists and pharmacy assistants/ technicians. The role will also be required to collaborate with CCLHD Team Leader Pharmacist(s) – Cancer Care Clinics to ensure consistent and effective service provision across the CCLHD.
