TABMA Apprentices and Trainees are now taking applications for Timber Truss and Frame Manufacturing trainees located in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide.

This opportunity is open to entry level applicants who demonstrate a willingness to learn, commitment, good communication and a passion for learning about the trade. The role will require a certain level of mathematical skills and an eye for detail. You will need your own transport and if you have a white card or have completed a pre-app or certificate in construction it will be highly advantageous.

The Apprenticeship will include the following training:

Setting up timber floor and wall trusses
Reading and interpreting truss, floor and fame fabrication plans
Assembling frames
Operating a truss press as well as other hand and power tools
Conducting quality and product care procedures
Implementing health and safety policies and procedures
