What you'll be doing

To provide management and clinical leadership to the team/unit ensuring the provision of nursing and clinical care is safe and efficient ,while maintaining standards of care that reflect current standards of nursing practices and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures

Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
High level operational / clinical management knowledge and skills in a relevant setting, that demonstrate an ability to effectively coordinate unit / service activities.
Demonstrated ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the unit / service are managed, within a defined budget, to deliver safe and efficient health care.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a nursing team within a multidisciplinary team environment.
High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use a variety of computer applications
High level leadership using contemporary change management methodologies and an understanding of current issues impacting on the nursing profession.
