The Role
We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our clients’ team and help drive their platform development during this time of exponential growth. As a telehealth platform with a unique offering thats in high demand you’ll have the opportunity to join create meaningful change and benefit in society.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be working across the front-end and back-end software stack, with a focus on back-end. Primarily working with React.js, Node.js, Typescript and AWS.

Here’s a sneak peek at your day-to-day

Building the core functionality of business’ rapidly growing developer platform and “app store”
Increasingly automate the process for partners to build applications, submit code, and launch on the platform
Improve the architecture of our platform, to enable increasing levels of self-service
Create, improve and document APIs so partners can spend more time building and launching

Required Experience
Our client is looking for engineers who love to learn and are keen to get stuck in, while taking responsibility for delivering a quality product. As their stack is heavily based on Javascript technologies, you will have:

Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or equivalent technical experience
Experience of a full-stack engineer delivering production-ready systems using modern technologies
React.js, Typescript & other frontend frameworks and tools
Node.js and other language for backend development
Familiarity with Agile practices, especially Scrum and Sprint software lifecycles
Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute as part of a team
A demonstrated love of clean, maintainable code

You’ll be helping to build their engineering culture by identifying and communicating best practices, and participating in code reviews to ensure their technical excellence.

Salary
$80k-$120k + super (commensurate with experience).
