Twelve (12) Month Fixed Term - Full-Time

Our Operational Services team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Work Scheduler (Civil Works & Parks). You will report directly to the Manager Operations Services and be accountable for the following:

Plan Operational Services (Civil Works and Parks) maintenance and works schedules to ensure delivery of the highest standards in an efficient manner.
Progressively monitor the overall effectiveness of the planning process (work achievement and cost effectiveness) in order to optimise the outcome for the City.
From the annual master schedule develop periodic work plans ensuring delivery of realistic packages of work. The work plans will be short and long term including routine / cyclic periodic and capital works.
Provide technical support and advice in relation to work scheduling and technical aspects of work activity including periodic auditing of compliance with technical standards and agreed standards of service

To be successful you will have:

Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and considerable experience in scheduling.
Proven ability in developing schedules, tracking progress and schedule reporting.
Chartered Professional Engineering status (desirable)
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service.
Current unrestricted “C-A” (Automatic) or “C-B” (Manual) class national driver’s license.
Possession of OHS White Card.

This twelve (12) month, fixed-term full-time Level 8 position attracts a salary range of $99,294 to $105,189 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and restricted private use of a Council vehicle is also offered.
