The Property

This is a great venue that has "Many Faces". It is a mix of clientele of white-collar, blue Collar, families through to local 20 something's out for their big night out on a Saturday night. Understanding this mix of people and what they are all looking for has really helped their venues figures grow over the last two years.

The Venue is in excellent condition, it has a beautiful and very busy beer garden, high turnover Public Bar (that has a great vibe), as well as a Bistro that is doing well and just about start work on tweaking their offering. This venue also does well in gaming and this area has already had a facelift.

The Role

Working closely with the Licensee and management team you would be part of the day to day running of the venue with some time in gaming. Helping build a solid team and engage with the regulars.

It is a hands-on role and the expectation is that you will be leading the floor, mentoring and guiding your team, helping them to achieve goals and business objectives.

You'll have a ton of support from the Licensee and the rest of the team. You will also get to have direct input in the business planning by putting forward ideas to help drive the business, especially around promotions.

Who we are looking for

This is a role for someone who has the right attitude and has come from a service background with a down to earth leadership style. Being an engaging, people person is essential for being successful in this role.

The company is willing to train and develop in specific areas but ideally, you will have strong experience in all areas including food and beverage, kitchen, TAB and bottle shop.

Rewards

Salary range is from $60 - $70K + Super for the candidate with the right skills and experience. You'll also have a work-life balance with no doubles, only 5 straight shifts and a rotating roster, around 45-50 hours a week.
