Unique opportunity to work within a new Cyber Insurance Practice as part of an established Australian Company

The Role:

Bringing together and supporting a coordinated Cyber Response Practice
First line of response to clients, triaging issues, relaying incident to the cyber vendor, writing up synopsis report for the claims team
Managing the client and vendor process E2E

Main Responsibilities:

Strong client facing stakeholder management skills:
- Strong empathy and rapport building with clients
- Able to troubleshoot and identify issues during high pressure time-critical environments
Vendor Management:
- Able to relay cyber issues and actions to appropriate vendor
- Understanding costs and budgets; managing the vendor deliverables in line with the scope and remit
Excellent written ability
- Must be able to write clear concise reports, that can be read universally, using relevant but not unnecessary technical language

Ideal Candidate:

IT Degree or Cyber Degree
5 years + Professional Incident Response experience
Good technical understanding of a variety of incidents
Excellent soft skills, capable to adapt their communication style from SME to Corporate
Keen attitude for supporting and growing a greenfield practice

Notes:

Previous insurance or claims experience, either through law firms or as an adjuster would be advantageous but not essential
Would consider candidate with 3 years + Incident Response Experience
iso 27035 / iso27001 or other methodologies would be favoured but not essential
