About the Opportunity

Ohana Early Learning now have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join their team in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

With the role reporting directly to the Business Owner, you will primarily be responsible for autonomously overseeing the day-to-day business operations whilst identifying and implementing improvements to achieve organisational strategic goals and KPI's.

Main duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Mentoring and aligning Centre Managers and the Enrolment Specialist with strategic goals;
Identifying and implementing strategies to maximise staff engagement, centre occupancies and financial outcomes;
Maintaining key stakeholder relationships, including with staff, families and regulators; and
Contributing to the integration of additional centres in the short to medium term.

Strong support for the role is present through current staff in the operational and recruitment areas - an Enrolment Specialist providing strong sales and occupancy and a Pedagogy Specialist providing support in the area of parent engagement and children's learning.

About You

Ohana Early Learning are looking for a corporate-minded, committed leader with the drive and initiative to make this role their own.

You will need to be strong-willed and an exceptional communicator with the ability to negotiate and conduct difficult conversations when necessary. Your willingness to step out of your comfort zone and make informed, executive decisions, when needed, will be essential to your success in this role.

Importantly, you must be comfortable working autonomously, initiating and guiding the team through various phases of change. You will need to maintain a positive attitude and a genuine desire to achieve the best results for the business.

Please note: Prior experience within the Childcare industry is not essential but would be highly regarded.

In return for your hard work and dedication, the successful candidate will receive a generous salary circa $180,000 - $200,000 OTE, negotiable based on your skills and experience. Ohana Early Learning is willing to negotiate relocation assistance, if necessary, for the right candidate.
