* Salary: $31,545 - $58,027 p.a. - AHA1 or $61,383 - $64,366 p.a. AHA2 - Temporary Full-Time - up to the 30 June 2021

The Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant (AHA1) is responsible for assisting Allied Health professional staff in the provision of culturally appropriate services for patients of the NALHN and will undertake a range of activities that require the application of basic Allied Health Assistant practical skills and knowledge in relation to both direct patient contact and in the preparation and maintenance of equipment, areas and resources, the incumbent may hold or be undertaking a Certificate 1 or 2 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.

The Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant (AHA2) provides assistance and support to the Allied Health team in the delivery of culturally appropriate Allied Health Services to patients of the NALHN under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional and may rotate through other clinical services within the service, the incumbent must hold or be undertaking Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
