About the role

As our Support Worker joining the Home & Community team, you will play a key role empowering our participants to be part of the community, and to live independently. When supporting our participants with domestic assistance, social supports or personal care, your care is person-centric to ensure that our customers live the life they want and choose. This role will definitely gauge with your playful, compassionate and social side, as you shape and improve the lives of our participants.

You are highly personable, a team player and have the ability to engage people in skill development activities such as social and recreational activities.

You are truly passionate for supporting people with a disability
You are an exceptional communicator, proficient in English

Other requirements

Availability and willingness to work across a range of shifts, including: morning, afternoon, nights and weekend shifts
Availability to work awake or overnight shifts
Willing to travel to Belfield and Belmore area
Comfortable with providing personal care
Comfortable driving a van
Current Australian Driver's Licence and your own motor vehicle (Minimum P2)
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Working with children check or willingness to obtain
