Our client a major food processing and value adding company that has grown from humble beginnings into a great organisation with an international reputation for high quality products is seeking a qualified industrial maintenance Electrician to join their large and well-established facility.

In this role you will be responsible for general maintenance that includes repair on a day to day basis as well as ensuring downtime is minimised. In addition, you will develop and implement systems that will maximise efficiency of and minimise cost of utilities.

You will also recommend and develop initiatives that will enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant.

To apply for this position, you will need to be a trade qualified and licensed electrician along with experience in a manufacturing facility, FMCG preferred, you will also be proficient in the use of PLC's from a fault-finding perspective.

In addition, you will have efficient problem-solving skills, the capacity to work well under pressure along with a thorough understanding of OH&S regulations / procedures.
