The Opportunity:

A new opportunity has become available for a dedicated and energetic sales orientated person in Sydney as a Customer Support Sales Representative (CSSR).

Reporting to the Construction Customer Support Manager, the purpose of this position is to:

Maximise customer contact.
Actively build relationships and create value to the customer’s business.
Deliver alternative solutions for their fleet
Gather and report on key information to support a proactive and one team approach to sales growth.

Supporting customers in the Southern Sydney Metropolitan area, the role requires the individual to be current in Komatsu’s range of aftermarket products & services and to actively build relationships by adhering to the principles and standards of the Customer Support Charter.

The Role

The successful applicant will learn and be conversant in Komatsu's range of products and services and will work enthusiastically to actively build customer relationships. A key component of this role is to maximise investment in customer visits, deliver value to customers and sell appropriate solutions from the full range of Komatsu products and services.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

Sales experience or a strong background in machinery sales, as a Customer Support Representative (CSR), Parts Interpreter or in another comparable position.
Prior experience in the earth moving industry and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Drive, resilience and persistence (a sales hunter).
Pipeline management and analysis experience.
An ability to apply both professional and technical skills effectively.
Strong customer service skills; with a proactive approach in identifying opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proven ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships.
Efficiently work within Microsoft Office suite software.
Current driver's licence with a current driving history report
