My client is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in delivering critical infrastructure across NSW through advisory and planning. The role will be responsible for providing engineering support and expertise in response to clients needs ensuring deliverables are met on a timely manner and agreed upon time frame.

Description

You will be responsible for reviewing all relevant information from the various spatial geoscience information which would include existing reports, boreholes and geology for regional areas.

Drafting of bore hole locations and Geotech models

DBYD and AHIM search;

Factual report writing, site, fieldwork and laboratory testing description and subsurface conditions;

Assistance in preparation of procurement, project management and safety documentation;

Conduct field inspections and investigations and report on geotechnical hazards / issues;
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of technical engineering reports.

Profile

To be successful for this role you would require the following competencies:

At least 3 years' experience in a Geotechnical Engineering/ Geology capacity
Effective communication with track record in client management/ liaison
Local working experience is required
Effective Effective communication with track record CLoca
