The Position

St John of God Subiaco Hospital is a world class private hospital offering the highest quality medical and surgical care in a warm and welcoming environment.

We have multiple opportunities in our Café for talented café all-rounder’s to join our friendly and efficient team as Café Hosts.

Are you a team player who loves serving customers with a passion for great food and amazing coffee?

The ability to multi-task and think on your feet while ensuring our customers are treated to a high standard of hospitality and service is vital to these busy positions. While not essential, previous experience as a Barista with associated formal training would be considered highly advantageous.

To be considered Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts (morning and afternoon) from Monday to Sunday.

These are casual positions.

The successful candidate will have:

A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced food and beverage environment.
Positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people including own team and customers.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Previous cash handling experience.
A high standard of personal presentation and punctuality.
Demonstrated food handling skills including an awareness of food hygiene standards.
A willingness to learn new coffee and food production skills.
