There are, however, a few boxes you will need to tick:

Enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives. The lives they want and choose, we are about putting the people we support first. That is non-negotiable
Current Driver’s Licence
Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
Cert IV in Disability, preferred but not essential
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to liaise at all levels
Service excellence with a proven ability to lead and continuously improve processes.
Experienced leader in positive behaviour practices
Current WWCC or willing to obtain (a voluntary WWCC is NOT acceptable)

So, who is Aruma? We are glad you asked.

Aruma is a new name in disability services, but we are definitely not new. You might remember us as House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation, two great organisations, with over 100 years of combined experience, who came together in 2018.

Successful applicants will be employed by Aruma under The Tipping & Vista, Disability and Child, Youth, Family Service Enterprise agreement 2017. Employment, salary, and benefits will be in accordance with this Enterprise Agreement Victoria.
