Currently looking for an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to work in a private clinic in Heidelberg.

Job Summary

Special interest in exercise prescription for a variety of chronic disease, injuries and disabilities
Liaising with local GP clinics and Austin/Mercy Hospital
Lead group classes (Circuit and balance/elderly groups, max of 3)
Working closely with local community organisations and programs
Initial Case load of 2 full days.
Running recovery / mobility group class

Professional Indemnity Insurance
Demonstrated effective communication skills needed to speak to our patients and also medical professionals in the area

Preferred

Knowledge of the Exercise Physiologists role in Chronic Disease Management (Medicare), Department of Veterans’ Affair, Workcover, TAC & NDIS
Experience using HealthKit
Pilates or Clinical Pilates experience (Not required but highly desirable)
