They are the world leader in Intelligent Process Automation. As they continue to move more of their business into the Cloud, they are seeking a seasoned DevOps Expert to come and join their R&D team.

Your new venture

This is a permanent role for a highly experienced DevOps Engineer. You'll champion the DevOps function and help automate and streamline the development process, ensuring great new products and features get into their customer's hands faster and more efficiently. Ideally you are an expert at running production workloads in Azure and you'll have some experience with AWS as well. On a day-to-day basis, you'll oversee the production environment and work with the development teams to build and deploy code and infrastructure changes fast. You will also be charged with recognising opportunities to implement best practices that can be leveraged by other teams, both here in Auckland and across the wider organisation.

Your skills and experience

Proven experience in a similar role as a Senior DevOps Engineer (preferably you come from a software development background)
Proven experience working in an enterprise-level production environment
Solid experience in Azure (AWS and GCP are also welcomed)
Experience using Infrastructure as Code
Experience in various scripting languages (Python/ PowerShell/ JavaScript)
Ability to build CI/CD pipelines from the scratch
Experience working with Container technologies (Docker/ Kubernetes)
Experience with managing your work using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
Passionate about implementing new ideas, about challenging the norms and offering creative solutions
