The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Sales Manager this key role is accountable for delivering value to the customer and the Selleys Retail Sales Team by providing a high level of professional service and field representation across all product channels.

Working across the North West Melbourne Metro territory you will focus on achieving ongoing commercial growth; building strong relationships; and adding value to your customers through providing exceptional service and continuous improvement in customer relations. Responsibilities include:

Meet with customers to drive sales opportunities and be the face of the brand;
Build trust and credibility with customers by demonstrating sound brand and product knowledge;
Manage your time effectively and plan ahead to maintain visit and call cycles.

To be successful:

You will have a passion for sales and a genuine desire to help customers overcome challenges and achieve their goals. You will be motivated by developing a career with a market leader and be known for your ability to influence customer thinking and decisions. Ideally you can demonstrate:

Experience in account management or B2B sales with big box retail, preferably hardware or related;
Proven skills managing customer relationships and building rapport with stakeholders;
Resilience and the ability to work autonomously;
A driven, enthusiastic and positive work ethic.
