Due to our client's ongoing success and expansion Dawsons have a number of positions available at a local Zinc Refinery in Townsville.

Dawsons is searching for experience and certified crane operators, riggers, trade assistants, boilermakers and Welders for approximately 2-6 months' work with the opportunity of this extending out further. The successful applicant will be working in different areas of the plant including the Structural, Mechanical and Piping part of a Construction Project.

Working hours are Monday to Friday including the opportunity for overtime and Saturday work.

The successful applicant will be required to have the below criteria:

Reside in Townsville for this local work
Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Nationally recognized working at heights certificate within 2 years (or the ability to obtain)
Have a drivers licence and their own reliable transport to get to site
Have a positive and safe work attitude
Use own initiative as this is a high performing environment
Additional high risk work licence tickets highly desirable

As there is a process involved to meet site requirements we would be looking at on boarding suitable applicants as soon as practicable.
