Reputable, well established multi-disciplinary Law Firms based in Cairns are seeking experienced Solicitors to become a part of their highly skilled teams. Based in tropical, sunny Cairns, these roles will offer interesting work and professional development, without big city stresses and traffic. Applicants living outside of Cairns are encouraged to apply.

The Solicitor Opportunities

You will have at post admission experience of between 3-5 years in Commercial, Family or Property Law. These working environments are highly professional and supportive, with mentoring from senior solicitors and partners (depending on your role) included as part of your ongoing professional development. These position suit enthusiastic, high performing solicitors that strive for excellence for their Clients and their Firm. Experience working in the Commercial Law, Family Law, & Property Law are desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage a file load independently/within a team/under supervision if less experienced.
Prepare court documents and correspondences.
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
Court/ Conference/ Settlement attendance
Liaise with clients, relevant organisations, departments and authorities.
General administrative tasks (e.g. file management, data management, and document filing)

About You

You are confident, reliable and hardworking, with well-developed time management. Focused and motivated to successfully deliver outcomes and exceed client expectations. These Solicitor opportunities suit motivated, passionate Solicitors that strives for excellence in all aspects the work undertaken and seeking further career progression and mentoring from exceptionally skilled, senior solicitors in your particular area of law. A QLD Practicising Certificate or ability to obtain one will be expected.
