In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing our customer’s network infrastructure focusing on ensuring availability, performance, capacity, configuration and security in line with business policies. You will also be responsible for recommending, designing and implementing necessary architecture and project changes needed to support client growth and strategic direction.

You will be responsible for the following:

Design computer networks, including local/wide area networks (LANs/WANs) and intranets
Work closely with other Consultants to perform research and analysis to implement network drivers and monitoring of applications to align network design with organisational goals.
Design and integrate VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and other telecommunications systems as required.
Configure and run live diagnostics to monitor network performance and optimise the network for optimal speed and availability.
Assess and recommend improvements to networks via security tools such as firewalls (Cyberoam), enterprise anti-virus and intrusion detection systems (Trend micro) and ensure changes are actioned.
Install, configure and upgrade PC software and operating systems.
Configure and maintain client's internal computer networks and be responsible for end-user desktop support and training users, if required, and the maintenance of servers and other networked devices.
Backup and restore of data and managing disaster recovery failover testing and maintenance.
Implement and maintain emergency backup and restore systems for mission-critical network servers.
Identify, troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity and performance issues.
Diagnose errors and troubleshoot software, hardware, network, connectivity and performance issues and provide technical support.
Install networked telecommunication devices eg: network hardware, routers, switches and other necessary devices etc.
Following procedures and policy to regulate user access to sensitive information on the network and to guard against security breaches.
Communicate with clients on requested site changes, document, liaise with client and 36-400 staff and implement as required.

Required skills:

At least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or related field.
2 years' experience preferred in a similar role
Effective management of internal and external stakeholders, proven problem-solving and communication skills
In depth knowledge and experience across broad solutions that include technologies such as VMWare, Microsoft (AD, Exchange, SQL etc), O365; Network (WAN/LAN/Routers/Switches/Firewalls), Cloud Solutions and Storage technologies (multiple flavours)
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with MS Windows Servers and all related technologies
Implementing effective and efficient cross technology-based solutions that support client's business
Experience in a Project capacity role ideally within a Managed or Professional Services organisation with proper time management skills
Contributing to the planning and prioritisation of the project tasks
Cloud Migration experience including Office365
Exceptional communication, customer relationship and technical skills
Scoping of hardware, software, and service requirements

Salary and remuneration:

$65,000-$80,000 per annum plus super
