What you'll be doing

To provide a professional speech pathology service to adult inpatients and outpatients and their family/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients. As team leader , this position is required to demonstrate broad clinical specialty, provide supervision to allocated staff and provide site coordination and clinical leadership within the team.

The speech pathologist will work to deliver high quality care in a dynamic team environment and work closely with interdisciplinary colleagues and senior managers within the hospital to ensure the development and delivery of effective and pro-active speech pathology services. The speech pathologist will be active in the areas of service development, service evaluation and staff and student teaching.

The position may be rostered across any of the CCLHD facilities and may include weekend/after-hour shifts.
