The DES program focusses on quickly gaining an understanding of a person's employment goals and working with them to strengthen their ability to gain and maintain suitable employment. An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Disability Employment Consultant to join their welcoming and supportive team in Noosa.

This role will require self-motivation to meet performance goals.

Responsibilities

Deliver effective employment support services that result in successful job placement
Schedule appointments with DES customers to maximise engagement
Develop and maintain relationships with employers and key stakeholders
Facilitate high quality employment solutions which lead to sustainable outcomes by knowing the local labour market
Undertake reverse marketing activities focussed on finding jobs that are a good match for a person's skills
Provide effective on the job training and post placement support

The Successful Applicant

Demonstrate skills that will result in the successful delivery of Employment Services
Proven performer in a role that requires innovation and delivers effective and efficient services
Ability to work autonomously and independently to achieve employment outcomes
High level communication skills and attention to detail with administrative tasks
COVID vaccination mandatory

Applicants must also have the ability to complete a police check, hold a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have a current Driver's Licence.
