About the role

Our Occupational Therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team that supports a family-centred practice model, supporting each child to develop the skills needed so that they can engage meaningfully in home, school, and community life.

Working in a mix of clinical and community settings, our Occupational Therapists collaborate with families, their supports and other service providers to maximise the outcomes for each child and family.

Our team works across the Adelaide region, based from our Welland, North Adelaide or new Noarlunga locations. Due to our expansion, we have a range of full and part-time roles available at entry, mid and senior levels.

Specialisation supported

An opportunity exists also for Occupational Therapists with prior experience, or a keen interest in Assistive Technology or Orientation & Mobility to develop skills in either of these specialist areas, working in a new facility purpose-built for the delivery of services incorporating custom-designed Orientation & Mobility and Technology spaces.

About you

Your passion for family centred practice, building family capacity and working towards functional goals, alongside your commitment to professional development and growth will be the foundation to your success in this role.

Demonstrating professional expertise and competence, your experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services with children and young people will see you delivering high-quality services to a mix of clients.

You are someone who can work autonomously but also work well in a collaborative environment and is not afraid to offer up new suggestions and take ownership of your work.

Our ideal candidate has;

Relevant tertiary qualifications;
Active Practising status with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
Knowledge and experience of working with a paediatric client group;
Experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services with early intervention and/or youth aged clients, working with children and young people across a range of diagnoses;
Knowledge of working across a multi-disciplinary team;
Experience in liaising with other professionals in the health/disability sector.

The salary for this role is commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to the base salary, you can access generous salary packaging options that may significantly increase your take-home pay.
