An opportunity exists for a Senior Trustee Advisor to join one of the most established Superannuation funds in Australia. The organisation is in the midst of working through all past, present and future changes happening across the industry and as a result are looking for an additional person to join their highly respected team.

The Superannuation Trustee team oversees the governance arrangements of the Superannuation Trustee and assists the Trustee with its obligations by acting in the best interests of fund members and beneficiaries. There is a huge amount of breadth and variety in the role and you will interact with all entities that make up the wider Superannuation business.

No day is the same, however you can expect to have responsibility across:

Maintaining and monitoring the Trustee's governance arrangements.
Implementing change as instructed by the regulator
Support the preparation and issue of communications, notices and interactions to/with relevant regulators on behalf of the Trustee and Trustee Board where appropriate.
Facilitate the Trustee's compliance, regulatory notices and requirements, regulatory reporting, audit reporting, APRA Prudential Standards.

We are hoping to attract individuals who have strong technical knowledge of Superannuation. You will be empowered in this role in respect to planning and prioritising the workload. You will have an understanding of the Superannuation industry, legislation and how it applies to a Superannuation business. People who have a foundation in law or who are skilled in working within governance frameworks will be highly regarded. You may come from compliance, product or be heavily experienced in operations. Most importantly, you will have the drive to learn and be a true adviser to key stakeholders.
