Within the Albury Wodonga area, our team are currently seeking an Auto Electrician to work with our defence focused client. This role offers more than just a workshop role, with the ability to expand your skills working on a unique range of vehicles.

About the Role

As a trade qualified Auto Electrician working with our client your role could include:

Working within a fast paced, high standards environment
Development, installation and commissioning of electrical wiring, harnesses, control panels and components
Fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance, repair and replacement of electrical components
Creating documentation for harness plans and electrical schematics
Understanding and implementing customer requirements
Fitting of vehicle accessories
General repairs as needed
Undertaking a variety of tasks to support a diverse team

Skills and Experience

To be successful as an Auto Electrician with our client you will need:

Recent experience in a similar role
Recognised Qualification (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical technology or similar)
Car Licence (or greater)
Ability to pass a basic security clearance
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams
Proven experience in electrical connection/disconnection
High level of physical fitness and strength
Excellent attendance, attitude, reliability and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A strong ‘team player’ with the proven ability to work efficiently with others
A positive attitude and a strong commitment safety
