A well-established tour operator are looking for an experienced Travel Agency Manager. Travel Beast is a great place to develop your Tourism Management skills whilst having a lot of fun along the way!

The lifestyle consists of making dreams come true for travel enthusiasts. In this role you will be responsible for day to day running of the store and performance managing a team to maximise profits for the business.

What you will be responsible for:

Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales;
Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses; Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations;
Ensure all details of arrangements are confirmed, including transportation, accommodation, conferencing, dinners, tours, team building and other events requirements;
Establish sound relationship with travel agencies in Asia and relationship with existing travel agencies;
Manage supplier relationships with Travel Management Company (TMC), hotels and transport companies;
Design travel itineraries based on the customers requirements using our clients current product or through researching new product;
Utilise the full facilities offered by CRS/GDS – Sabre, travel management system and your email, e.g. diary, queuing system, hotel reservations system, profiles (keep all traveller's profiles up to date), office messaging system etc.

Knowledge Skill and Abilities:

Proven sales and marketing abilities
Organizational and planning skills
Customer service skills;
Marketing and selling skills;
Financial management skills;
Travel and/or management experience at least 3 years;
Computer Applications Word processing software;
Time and risk management skills an asset;
English and Mandarin may be required;
