Our client are currently seeking an experienced 4x4 mechanic & accessory fitter to join their successful 4x4 parts and accessories workshop in the Hunter region in NSW. This role is eligible for our $1000 sign on bonus. This role would suit a qualified mechanic or current apprentice.

Situated on the east coast of NSW, Newcastle is surrounded by golden sand beaches, a breathtaking coastline and a beautiful working harbor. The city has everything you need including cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping and medical facilities all within a 2-and-a-half-hour drive of Sydney.

Our client offers a large range of services and parts for the serious 4wder. They have been operating in the area for more than a decade and provide great service to their clients in a cost-effective way.

Skills and Experience

You must have:

Great mechanical knowledge, including 4WD experience.
You must be a qualified light vehicle mechanic (or current apprentice)
Minimum 1 years experience in fitting 4x4 accessories, such as bull bars and tow bars, winches, dual battery setups, trailer brake systems etc.
Experience with 12 volt wiring and installation of 12 volt products.
Very high attention to detail.
A high degree of pride in your work.
The ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
The ability to carry out general servicing
Strong commitment and compliance towards OH&S
Full Australian working rights
