The Role

We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join the finance team as our company rapidly grows. This role is currently permanent part time but will be full time for the right candidate after probation.

In this role you will:

Enter and code incoming money into a spreadsheet
Have clear communication with our clinic staff
Update KPI spreadsheets
Use / Update multiple XERO data files daily
General Admin duties as required
Follow up bad debts

You

Essential Skills:

Able to enter data accurately
Maintain confidentiality
Deliver clear and polite communication with all stakeholders (employees, sub-contractors, suppliers, debtors, govt departments)
Sound accounting knowledge
Strong excel skills
Experience using all Microsoft applications
Reliable and trustworthy
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to meet deadlines

Desirable skills/experience:

Experience using XERO
Experience in the health care industry is desirable, not essential
An understanding of medical software
An understanding of billing procedures
Be comfortable navigating web based applications, ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues and knowledge of Microsoft office products
Willing to learn all facets of the skin cancer industry
Able to work independently and as part of a team
