About the Centre

SDN Ultimo is a 55 place centre located within Sydney TAFE's Ultimo College premises, providing early childhood education and child care for the children of TAFE students and the local community. We welcome children from birth to school age.

About The Role

To plan and provide high quality, nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment and to communicate and establish positive relationships with the team and children.

This is a permanent part time position working 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday between 10am - 2pm.

This is an assistant centre cook position.

About You

Current Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
Flexible and well organised
Basic training in safe food handling and hygienic practices (appropriate course)
Completion of Commercial Cookery basic training course or equivalent (desirable)
Completion of Nutrition and Menu Planning for Children training (desirable)
Experience cooking in bulk quantities in a domestic or commercial environment
High level oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
