Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry are looking for a tech savvy Customer Service agent to join their team in Hobart!

This exciting opportunity is a newly developed position combining back of house technical support with front desk customer service! The successful candidate will manage incidents & service requests, keeping customers continuously updated on their ticket status as well as managing suppliers for a range of complex products and services.

Responsibilities will include:

Monitor & manage customer incidents & service requests
Resolve incidents & fulfil service request
Actively manage relevant parties via phone & email communication to ensure SLAs are met
Manage and assist with escalations and service improvements
Assist the Service Desk Team Manager with various requests/escalations
The successful candidate will also actively contribute to knowledge management, customer satisfaction & service improvement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven experience in a help desk/support environment.
Experience using Service Management Tools.
Ability to collect & interpret complex information.
Excellent high level communication skills - both written & verbal.
Customer service experience in a contact centre environment.
