My client is needing a geological technician with experience on both the surface and underground operations. You must have experience of the following;

Sample bag mark up
Obtain & process Geological data including
Sample collection, surface and underground
Core processing and sampling
Data entry
Sample preparation as required
Sample submission
Sample storage and archiving, core and pulps

It would be advantageous to have experience in the following;

Manage all Geology consumables, ensuring adequate supplies for all Geology activities.
Participate in the running of a fully functional core farm to ensure timely and efficient processing and dispatch of diamond core and other samples as required.
Assist the Mine Geologist with any production activities, underground face sampling, mapping, mark ups.
Assist in the laboratory with sample preparation.

Minimum requirements;

Commitment to safety in the workplace.
3 years minimum experience in a similar role
Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills.
Personal drive, an ability to prioritise workload, work autonomously at times, and with a wide range of key stakeholders is essential.
