About the Client

Part of long standing group. Our client embraces their core people values. They know that they cannot deliver to their customers without great people. Due to an impending staff retirement we are now on the lookout for a Manager to oversee their distribution branch/centre.

A Manager is a leader in this business and their role is to motivate and develop their teams. Their Manager's are commercially capable and are responsible for the financial and cultural indicators of their stores. A key responsibility with this established and phenomenally successful company is to ensure they continue to offer an unrivalled service to their trade customers. As the Manager for their Distribution Branch/Centre for the region you are outcomes focused with good people skills. You enjoy working in a team environment and contributing to the business as a whole. Your philosophy is seeing your success as coming from your team succeeding and by ensuring you provide each member of your team with opportunities in a rewarding environment. You will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Coaching, leading and training all team members in your branch to fully meet the expectations of your client base.
* The branch/centre performance, including achieiving daily delivery time lines. * Oversee stock inventory, monthly P&L reporting and annual forecasting. * Manage stock levels to achieve set stockturn budgets.* Follow up on escalated customer feedback appropriately.
* Ensure compliance with all procedures and further enhance a strong WHS culture.* Empowering, motivating and upskilling along with providing change leadership for growth within the branch team. * Develop the leadership capability of the business by the identification of high potential people in the team and the development needs of these.

To be successful in this position you must possess the following:
* You will have a passion for exceeding customers expectations, in order to maximise the profitability of all accounts.
* The Manager will have a strong logistics and distribution background.
* You must be a resourceful individual, who is able to solve problems using your own initiative.
* An understanding of the residential construction process would be an advantage but not essential. * Demonstrate inspiring and motivating behaviours that cultivate commitment in individuals and teams. On offer

$80k to $90k neg base salary + super + fully maintained vehicle
