About the role:

An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join an outstanding team of employees, and work within the Mental Health Theme. This position will report directly to Professor Andrew Lawrence (Division Head Productive Brain & Editor-In-Chief of JNC).

The candidate will be responsible for

* Designing and implementing JNC and the International Society of Neurochemistrys (ISN) digital and social media strategy including ensuring that activities and content are leveraged across various digital platforms
* Managing the content of JNC/ISN website to ensure a steady stream of high-quality content and periodically review our website structure and digital channels to ensure they are up to date and achieving their purpose
* Monitoring and periodically reporting on impactful metrics and use this evidence base to inform future directions

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in the health/medical research sector
* A minimum of two years experience in achieving measurable communication outcomes for an organisation through implementing campaigns in digital and social media channels.
* A successful track-record in social media, digital media, public relations or communications within the life science sector

This position attracts a full time salary offer in the range of $84,703 (HEW 7-1) - $86,396 (HEW 7-2) commensurate with experience, plus generous superannuation of 14% or the option of 17% (subject to an employee co-contribution) in accordance with The Florey Union enterprise agreement. Employees are also eligible for substantial salary packaging (including living expenses, meal entertainment, accommodation, electronic devices, car parking and motor vehicles), together with three paid Institute days, annual leave loading, purchased annual leave, parental leave, and further benefits.
