Our Managed Services Team in Victoria is growing and we are looking for an experienced Unified Comms Engineer to join our team and support our customers using Teams, Skype for Business and TCO365. You will be responsible for responding to and resolving technical issues from initial diagnosis through to 3rd level support. Your level of engagement may cover on-site, remote or phone based support.

About you:

To be effective and successful in this role, you must possess strong organisational skills, exceptional communication skills, customer relationship and process management skills to compliment your solid background in technical support.

6 years plus of IT experience
4 years of experience in a System Engineer position
Extensive experience in supporting Lync / Skype for Business is essential
Experience implementing and supporting Enterprise Voice highly desirable
Experience in supporting Microsoft Infrastructure
Installing and performing changes to virtual servers and software, following design or installation specifications
An understanding of Microsoft Windows Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) would be highly desirable
Experience with patch management and change management processes
Experience with wider Microsoft solutions such as Exchange and System Centre suite of solutions (SCCM/SCOM) would be beneficial
A strong desire to learn more about Cloud platforms and technologies
Updating technical documentation
Participate in a rotating on-call roster system and availability to undertake support work outside of normal business hours from time to time
Clear an Australian Federal Police Check
Eligible for Security Clearance/NV1 (Australian Citizen)

The Techy Bits:

As part of your technical experience and knowledge, you must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business and at least two of the following technologies: Data networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft ADFS, Microsoft SQL or Microsoft System Centre products.

Skype for Business Online and/or Teams with Telstra Calling for Office 365 (TCO365)
Skype for Business/Teams – Coexistence
Teams with direct routing
Voice gateways – Ribbon(Sonus), Audiocodes
Video interop solutions like RealConnect in the cloud, Pexip, Starleaf, BlueJeans
Room based meeting/video conferencing system like Polycom MSRs, Surface Hubs
