A part-time permanent position, starting asap. For the right candidate, this could become a full-time position. Current position – 4 days a week, 7.5 per day.

This position provides support to the Director, team leaders, parents, children and wider community.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education is a requirement (or ACECQA assessed equivalent). Candidates studying Bachelor/Masters in Early Childhood Education with over 50% completion are also encouraged to apply. Career pathway towards a teaching role would be supported.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Support the centre director, team leaders and other educators to provide high-quality early learning and care.
Have a sound knowledge of the Early Years' Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQF).
Be an approachable member amongst the community of families, children and teaching teams.
Approach tasks in a professional manner, using initiative and flexibility.
Demonstrate good organisational skills and professionalism.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in ECE or Bachelor of ECE (or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID004
Responding to Abuse & Neglect Certificate
Working with Children Check – South Australia

This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.

Candidates who do not currently have the above-mentioned certificates, must have a willingness to obtain them.
