Administration/Support Services 1 Medical Receptionist Job no: 533982 Work type: Full time Location: Ramsay Clinic New Farm Categories: Administration/Support Services MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST Full Time Position Applications are invited for an energetic, efficient person to join the New Farm Consulting Suites Team at New Farm Clinic. Candidates must have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, be impeccably well presented and possess highly developed communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to work a flexible roster between the hours of 7:30 am - 8:30 pm Monday to Friday. Thursday being the only night the clinic is open until 8:30pm, remainder of the week we close at 5:00pm The position will cover general reception duties, typing, making appointments, billing and receipting, switchboard operation, managing general enquiries and general administrative duties. The successful candidate must meet the following selection criteria: Previous experience in medical reception Be sensitive to patients' needs Be highly committed to providing excellent service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors; whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a harmonious environment within the team Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to accurately type letters and reports from dictaphone and written notes An understanding of Blue Chip (preferred) or similar medical practice package and be proficient in Microsoft Office Preferred knowledge of private health funds and Medicare billing Proven organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task Works well under pressure About our Organisation New Farm Clinic is a dedicated mental health care facility in Brisbane and a leader in the provision of private mental health care in Australia The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.
